Palma’s citizens vote “YES” to the Borne terraces by a large majority

The results were clear: a large majority of the participants said they want the continuation of the terraces of Paseo del Borne.
Pimeco’s president (Pimeco is the representative of Small and Medium Business of Mallorca), Bernat Coll, said after the results that “Palma’s citizens have decided they want a living city”, so asked the Palma City Council to “respect the decision and maintain the Borne terraces”.
Bernat Coll also spoke about the commercially importance of these terraces in the city: “the Borne terraces have succeeded commercialy revitalize one of the most important areas of Palma, in addition to substantially improve the image of Paseo del Borne”.
