Globalization regarding commercializing real estate

At Mallorca Gold we firmly believe in the possibilities that globalization offers to find partnerships with estate agencies in other countries and hence enlarge the range of prospective buyers of luxury properties in Mallorca.

In that sense I assisted the International Congress of “Leading RE” on 27th September, a group, that Mallorca Gold has been a member of for 6 years, held in Barcelona with more than half of the members coming from the US, the other half mostly from Europe, and partners from Australia, Africa and Middle East also being present. The three days consisted of a combination of conferences of American speakers and networking between the partners, which resulted to be very productive for Mallorca Gold.

In the same sense, I became speaker at a conference on 15th October, which was organized by the New York Times and my partners Brown, Harris and Stevens (BHS) from New York, where 7 further partners from other countries gave an impression of the different ways of handling the business of selling luxury real estate. The other partners were from Shanghai, Paris, Costa Rica, me from Mallorca and the other three were from the US.

The day after, on 16th October, I gave an introductory speech about the luxury real estate market on the island of Mallorca before 35 international brokers of BHS, which found great recognition.
