Team Day in the Southeast, the remotely tranquil part of the island

Another team day was enjoyed last weekend. And this time we met up in the charming and tranquil Southeast of Mallorca.

We started with a visit to the foundation “Amics d’Es Caló des Moro”, which Mallorca Gold has just become a member of. Why? Because it is a foundation that needs support in a very good cause. But we’ll be reporting about that in detail in the next couple of days.

We were welcomed by the Oehm-family, who are the lucky owners of a gorgeous villa sitting majestically high above the well-known coves Caló des Moro and Cala S’Almunia. They introduced themselves, their foundation and showed us around their vast and very idyllic property, where we took a quick refreshing bath in the sea at their beach: Caló des Moro.

Upon return to their villa we got spoiled with mouth-watering tapas and chilled white wine by private chef Meister Tom.

Next, we went and viewed 3 villas, starting with a great waterfront property in Cala Llombards (# 80411 - Fantastic villa on a unique plot in first line to the sea in Cala Llombards and moving on to two dreamlike villas in Ses Salines (# 43306 - Beautiful property with pool and panoramic views in rural surroundings near the beach Es Trenc and then # 90472 - Exclusive property with a great view and a fantastic palm garden close to the most beautiful bays of the southeast ).

The Southeast is the perfect place for those, who are trying find peace, get away from the hustle and bustle of their probably busy (work) life. On the terrace of most any of our Southeastern properties, you will hear nothing but silence, especially at night. The appropriate surrounding, if you seek both a little hide away, but still would like to able to easily reach enchanting beaches and cozy little towns for some shopping or eating out in exquisite restaurants.

After the viewings it was beach time again, this time at the famous dreamlike beach of Es Trenc with its crystal-clear turquoise waters and extensive dune area. It is hard to say, what was the highlight of the day, but the lunch at the Es Trenc Beach Restaurant, where our palates were spoiled with aromatic seafood, paella and fantastic wines, was surely one of them.
