Nova Santa Ponsa and Port Adriano

With 12,000 inhabitants, it is the most populous nucleus in the municipality of Calvia. Situated 20 km from Palma, it has two sandy beaches, one of about 500 meters long and very wide with a playground and beach volley to the rear, and another, called "playa pequeña” (small beach), which is just thirty meters long. In centre and right hand side of the bay of Santa Ponsa is the traditional hotel zone, while on the left hand side is the exclusive residential area, called Nova Santa Ponsa.

The Club Nautico Santa Ponsa, was built in 1975 and benefits from the natural geography of a cove called "sa Caleta". It features 522 berths for boats from 5 to 20m, and the harbour mouth is commemorated with a cross of the conquest, where the forces of King James I arrived from Aragon to retake the island from the Arabs in the 13th century.

Novo Santa Ponsa has three golf courses, as well as the Country Club, with its gym, indoor and outdoor pools, restaurant, tennis and paddle tennis facilities as well as a mini club for the children,

The other marina is at Port Adriano, Although originally built in 1970 as El Toro Marine, it was expanded and totally reformed with a project by Philippe Starck in 2012. It is one of the few marinas on the island able to berth superyachts up to 100 meters in length, and features extensive exclusive shopping areas, bars, restaurants and coffee bars.
