Portixol, Molinar

In recent years, Portixol has undergone a remarkable change to become “the” residential area of the city of Palma on the edge of the sea. It is also a famous centre of sea food restaurants and idyllic sea-side cafes. Almost all the fishermen's cottages on the front line have been restored and completely transformed.

This fishing village also has a beautiful promenade with spacious sidewalks with room for cyclists, skaters and walkers. With this Paseo, or walkway, the two extreme ends of Palma have been linked up, connecting Porto Pi, to the beach of Playa de Palma, with its long sandy beach, the Playa de Can Pere Antoni, and one of the best beach Clubs in Mallorca, the Nassau Beach as well as two yacht clubs, Portixol, and Molinar, which will soon be expanded.
