Historic estate from the 12th century with lots of charm and privacy
Arta Countryside, Arta - Northeast
One of the last large estates of the aristocracy of the island!
This historic property of 355 hectares with medieval tower, fountain, preserved oil mill and chapel, is one of the most important and most spectacular mansions of Majorca. The existence dates back to the conquest of King Jaime I in 1230. An aqueduct from the Arab period still flows through the country.
As soon as you enter this property, you can feel the energy and history that this property has. For five centuries it was taken over by direct affinity and was connected with all members of the land ownership family.
Social celebrations and events were held on the property. Approximately 200 employees took care of the mansion, plant maintenance and the livestock of sheep, goats and horses. Around 60 horses "Pura Raza Mallorquina" ran freely across the country at the beginning of the 19th century.
In 2006 the main house of 1500 m2 was completely restored and impressed with its architectural style. Elegant, bright rooms, large windows and doors, ceiling paintings from the 18th century, room heights of up to 6 meters and the staircase house give the house the special touch and a distinctive ambience. All bedrooms have bathrooms ensuite.
The outdoor area and the garden have native trees and shrubs as well as many small paths. The courtyards and terraces are quiet oases, which reveal some of the former everyday life of the nobles. 3 ancillary buildings can be developed according to your wishes and use. A building of this has a space capacity of about 15 rooms.
A dream property for nature and culture lovers, south facing with absolute privacy and versatile possibilities to use!
